All about me and 'How I came to be'

Hello my name is Chloë Mae Barnett

Only my mummy, daddy and I knew what my name was before I was born. I have heard them discussing my names and I really like the ones they have chosen. They have special meanings which are special to me. I hope you will like my names when you get to know them.

I am an IVF/ICSI baby which makes me a very special baby indeed. My mummy and daddy went through so much to get me and I know they love me so much already and I can't wait to meet them. They have seen me lots of times in all the scans that I have had and they get so excited when I wave at them and wriggle around.

I was one of 25 eggs that mummy made during her 7th IVF cycle which is a lot of eggs and a lot of IVF's! Seventeen of the 25 eggs fertilised and became embryo's. Two of them were put back inside my mummy. I was so lucky to be picked to be one of them and so here I am - A tiny baby growing inside mummy's tummy safe and sound and getting bigger every day.

My due date is on February 7th 2007 but I will be born at 38 weeks on January 24th 2007 by caesarean section. I will be born at the Mayday University Hospital in Croydon. My Zodiac sign will be Aquarius and I will be born in the Chinese year of the boar, hmmm I'm not sure I am happy about that!

I will live in a lovely Victorian house in Surrey with my mummy and daddy and Henry the cat. I have heard Henry purring when he sits on mummy's tummy and sometimes I give him a little kick. My half sister Lucy comes to stay at the weekends and I'm looking forward to getting to know her. She is 15 years old and is very pretty.

I will tell you more about myself after I have been born.
