- Both grandmas were in the room when Brendan was born. Shortly after, both grandpas came in to meet him. Uncle Kevin and Auntie Megan visited the night he was born too. We also had lots of visitors the following day in the hospital and at home in the days and weeks afterwards.

- Shawn had a friend in Arizona whose name was Brendan. Whenever he used to talk about him, I would tell him how much I liked that name and that I wanted to name my future son Brendan.
