Welcome to my website, my name is Ella and I was born on the 6th of January at the very civilised hour of 3.25pm!

I'm one now and I love getting into everything and exploring everywhere.

I am in my very own big bed and just recently I became a BIG sister!!

SUPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

April 2005: free and easy mum and dad visit Uncle Ben and while having a conversation about a completely different topic he says "what do you mean your pregnant???" to mum.... and she confusedly says "what are you talking about.....i'm not pregnant" and so to our amazment we found out that yes indeed, our beautiful baby girl was on her way.

January 2006: Ella was born Friday January 6th. On the monday there was a couple of hours of braxton hicks, followed by nothing until the thursday appointment with the obstetrician- she told me I was already 3cm dilated! Thursday night we walked and walked and walked and walked.... the city of Adelaide certainly has some strange people wandering around it in the wee hours (even pregnant women)! Then after a stroll down to Rundle Street for icecream we went back into the hospital and had a "pop-gush" incident as we were standing outside. It was 2pm and they now said I was in labour. by the time the midwife checked again, Ella was certainly on her way. The obstetrician was called back from her shopping trip and Ella was born at 3.25pm not even an hour and a half afer she started on her way into the world. For such a speedy arrival, she's a pretty chilled out baby.
