My Story

My Mummy and Daddy were so excited when they found out I was on my way. They had just moved to a house where we could all live together.

I was quite stubborn while I was in Mummy’s tummy, but I was very comfortable and content. I kicked and wriggled around as much as I could.

My daddy and Aunty Sabira (Jaffer) had planned a suprise baby shower for my mummy for Nov 24th, but I was too impatient in there. I am sorry mum to spoil your surprise shower.

On 21st Nov morning at 04.40 am I was born. I weighed 8.4 pounds. I had to wear small and tiny clothes as everything buried me. Mummy says I was small but perfectly formed and that all the best things come in small packages.

Understand that I am growing up and changing very fast, it must be difficult to keep pace with me, but please try





Listen to me and give me brief and clear answers to my questions. Then I will keep sharing my thoughts and feelings









 





 









Reward me for telling truth. Then I am not frightened into lying





Tell me when you make mistakes and what you learned from them. Then I can accept that I am OK when I blunder









 





 









Pay attention to me and spend time with me. Then I can believe that I am important and worthwhile





Do the things that you want me to do. Then I can have a good positive role model









 





 









Trust and respect me. Even though I am smaller than you, I have feelings and needs just like you





Compliment and appreciate me. Then I will feel good and I will want to please you









 





 









Help me explore my unique interests, talents and potential. In order for me to be happy, I need to be me, and not you or someone you want me to be





Be an individual and create your own happiness. Then you can teach me the same, and I can live a happy, successful and fulfilling life

It came time for me to see you the person, for me who caredthe person whose life for over half a year I lovingly shared.Now we see each other, mom, our hearts swell with prideI can tell you would always love me, I can see it in your eyes.

And I will always love you mom, for it was you, who gave me life through those loving eyes.
